21, 2012) Senoia, Georgia ace Clint Smith plans
to skip the $7,000 to win UMP showdown tonight at the
Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Instead,
Clint will play the role of crew chief, as rising NASCAR
star Aric Almirola is scheduled to pilot his Rocket racecar
in tonight's program.
(February 20, 2012) Following a day
off on Sunday, the Clint Smith Racing team returned to
dirt-slinging action tonight in round one of the 'UNOH
DIRTcar Nationals' at the famed Volusia Speedway Park
in Barberville, Florida. Clint Smith's night was unfortunately
a short one, as he lost power during qualifying and opted
to scratch from the remainder of the $7,000 to win UMP
DIRTcar Series program.

18, 2012) The 'Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals'
wrapped up tonight at the Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala,
Florida with a $12,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model
Series showdown. Clint Smith timed in fifteenth quickest
and later ran fourth in his loaded heat race. The Senoia,
Georgia standout then started the 60-lapper from the inside
of the eighth row, but had some problems during the race
that dropped him to a twentieth place finish at the pay
window.
(February 17, 2012) Night two of the
'Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals' took place tonight
at the Bubba Raceway Park and a $10,000 top prize was
on the line for the cars and stars of the World of Outlaws
Late Model Series. Clint Smith laid down the fourteenth
fastest lap in WOOLMS qualifying and later grabbed the
third and final transfer spot through his heat race. After
rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the
50-lap feature event, Clint was able to move up a couple
of spots en route to a steady twelfth place performance.
(February 16, 2012) Following a couple
of days away from the racetrack, the #44 team continued
"Speedweeks" tonight in night one of the 'Bubba
Army Late Model Winter Nationals' at the Bubba Raceway
Park in Ocala, Florida. Clint Smith qualified twenty-second
fastest during WOOLMS time trials and later finished fourth
in his loaded heat race. After a convincing B-Main triumph,
Clint then worked his way past nine competitors in the
$8,000 to win main event to record a stellar seventh place
effort.
(February
11, 2012) Clint Smith resumed the two-day 'Winter
Freeze' program tonight at the Screven Motor Speedway.
On a very chilly evening, Clint wound up finishing fifth
in his B-Main and later took use of a WOOLMS provisional
to gain access into the $20,000 to win feature event.
During the course of the 60-lap race, Clint improved six
positions en route to a nineteenth place effort.
(February 10, 2012) The 2012 season
opener for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series took
the #44 team to the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania,
Georgia for the $20,000 to win 'Winter Freeze' program.
Action got underway tonight for the two-day event, which
culminates with a 60-lapper tomorrow evening. Clint Smith
laid down the fifteenth fastest lap of the 56 entrants
during WOOLMS qualifying, but later finished seventh in
his stacked heat race. |

Reveals 2012 Season Plans!
(December 26, 2011) Clint Smith and the
CSR team revealed their 2012 plans today here on www.ClintSmith.com!
The '12 campaign will kick-off for the #44 team on February
10-11 with the $20,000 to win 'Winter Freeze' at the Screven
Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia. Following the World
of Outlaws Late Model Series lid lifter at Screven, Clint
will also travel to the Bubba Raceway Park and Volusia
Speedway Park in Florida to complete "Speedweeks
2012." From there, the Senoia, Georgia standout has
committed to once again following the entire World of
Outlaws schedule to compete for the series championship.
