of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series season tonight
in the $8,000 to win 'Winter Freeze' opener at Screven
Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia. Clint Smith timed
in nineteenth fastest in Group A during qualifying prior
to running eighth in his heat race and eleventh in his
B-Main. Unfortunately, "Cat Daddy" was unable
to crack the starting grid for the 40-lapper, which was
eventually won by Rick Eckert.
Prepares to Tackle SAS Circuit in 2017!
26, 2017) Fresh off a stellar 33-win season in
2016, which saw him pick up a pair of Track Championships
at the nearby Senoia (GA) Raceway, Clint Smith is preparing
his equipment for a run with the Southern All Stars Dirt
Racing Series (SAS) in 2017! Clint is a 4-time SAS Champion
(1992, 1993, 2000, & 2003) and will be gunning for
his fifth title during his '17 campaign. The series opener
is scheduled for Sunday, March 5 at Cherokee Speedway
in Gaffney, South Carolina, but Clint now plans to lift
the lid to his 2017 season on February 17-18 in the annual
'Winter Freeze' at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania,

Up '16 Season with Two More Wins in Frostbite!
(December 11, 2016) "Cat Daddy"
Clint Smith concluded his 2016 campaign on Saturday, December
10 in the 'Frostbite' program at West Georgia Speedway
in Whitesburg, Georgia. Clint picked up two more feature
victories in his season finale to elevate his win total
to thirty-three! In Limited Late Model action, Clint timed
in third quickest in qualifying and later took the lead
around the halfway mark in the main event to score the
$600 payday. Behind the wheel of his B-Cadet, the Senoia,
Georgia star advanced up to second in his heat race prior
to leading the last half of the main event distance to
pocket the $400 top prize. The #44 CSR team would like

Sweeps Gobbler 100 Events for Two Victories!
27, 2016) Clint Smith's 2016 win total now stands
at an astounding thirty-one after a pair of victories
in the 'Gobbler 100' spectacular on November 25-26 at
Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Georgia! In Crate Late
Model competition, Clint timed in fourth quickest in qualifying
and grabbed the point on lap 10 of the feature before
dominating the remainder of the distance en route to capturing
the $3,000 triumph. Behind the wheel in the Sportsman
division, Clint advanced from last in his heat race to
finish second prior to storming to the front in the A-Main
to lead the last half of the main event to bag the $2,000

B-Cadet Checkered Flag for 29th Win!!!
13, 2016) Senoia, Georgia star Clint Smith amassed
his twenty-ninth triumph of the 2016 racing season in
the inaugural running of the 'Showdown at Senoia' at Senoia
Raceway on November 11-12! Aboard his black #44 mount
in the B-Cadet division, Clint won his heat race in preliminary
action and later led from flag-to-flag in the headliner
en route to capturing the $1,500 winner's check over Michael
Page, Jody Knowles, Bobby Arnold, and Billy Stevenson!
The popular driver known as "Cat Daddy" suffered
problems in Super Late Model and Limited Late Model action
and was unfortunately unable to make the start in features
in those two divisions. Behind the wheel of his Crate
Late Model, Clint started sixth in the $2,500 to win main
event and drove up to second to place an impressive runner-up
behind only race winner Riley Hickman. Full results from

Busy at EAMS; Wins $3,000 in Super Street!
7, 2016) Clint Smith was a busy man from November
4-6 during the 42nd Annual 'National 100' weekend at East
Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama, as he
competed in the Super Late Model, Late Model Sportsman,
Crate Late Model, and Super Street divisions. While Clint
was unfortunately unable to make the start in the $20,000
to win 'National 100' for the Super Late Models, he was
able to record his twenty-eighth feature victory of 2016
in the Super Street class. The Senoia, Georgia star picked
up the $3,000 payday on Sunday afternoon at EAMS!
In the Late Model Sportsman, Clint worked his way past
a handful of competitors en route to a solid ninth place
showing in the $5,000 to win headliner. Behind the wheel
of a Crate Late Model, "Cat Daddy" was leading
early in the $5,000 to win main event before unfortunately
suffering ignition woes, which relegated him to a disappointing

Night at Senoia; Win Total Now at 27!
30, 2016) Clint Smith, of Senoia, Georgia, racked
up two more feature victories on Saturday evening, October
29 at the nearby Senoia Raceway to elevate his 2016 win
total to twenty-seven! Clint laid down the fastest lap
in both Super Late Model and Limited Late Model qualifying
to earn the pole position for each weekly feature event.
"Cat Daddy" then led from flag-to-flag during
each A-Main to record a pair of convincing triumphs. He
beat Joey Armistead, Joe Armistead, Jr., T.J. Reaid, and
Zach Leonhardi in the Super Late Model headliner to claim
the $1,500 windfall, while he drove his Limited Late Model
to a $750 victory over Matt Dooley, Glenn Morris, Jason

23, 2016) Clint Smith's 2016 win total now stands
at an astonishing twenty-five following a pair of victories
on Saturday evening, October 22 at his hometown Senoia
Raceway in Senoia, Georgia! Clint led from flag-to-flag
in both the Limited Late Model and Crate Late Model feature
events last night to score the $750 and $500 top prizes
respectively. In the $4,000 to win Ultimate Super Late
Model Series portion of the big program, Clint won his
consolation race in preliminary action and later passed
five competitors during the 40-lapper en route to a solid
sixth place performance in the caution-free affair. Full
